A Better Tomorrow
Mission
The Psittacine Welfare Institute seeks to improve collective parrot welfare by advancing husbandry and behavior management techniques through evidence-based science.
Vision
The Psittacine Welfare Institute seeks to improve the collective welfare of wild and captive parrots by raising the ceiling on industry care standards – creating a more ethical companion parrot industry and effectively reducing the demand for wild-caught parrots.
